Possess MLA, BLA or similar related qualifications with talents in creative design and graphic communications. Similar professional background in architecture may be considered. 

Strong and proven talent and capability in creative Concept and Planning design and being able to present compellingly and confidently.  

Proven local experience and skills in Schematic Design, and in putting together complete Design Development and Construction Documentation packages. 

Have sound technical knowledge and be very familiar with local authority compliances and agency initiatives, submissions and requirements including landscape replacements, Green Mark, etc.       

Possess a good command of English and be clear in communications with Clients, Consultants and Contractors in all project activities. 

Always represent the office professionally and respect all Client and collaborating groups as well as individuals of different seniority and culture, including co-workers. 

Work closely with the Directors and Associates in ensuring that project milestones and billing targets are met. 

Lead a number of projects simultaneously, working independently, organizing teams/tasks clearly to respond to project briefs, schedules and milestones. 

Proficient in Autodesk (AutoCAD) with skills in Adobe (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.) and Sketchup, to generate, communicate, and document project outputs. Skills in Enscape, Lumion or other graphic software and, a working knowledge of Revit would be an added advantage. 

Be approachable and mentor younger staff while maintaining active participation in professional/staff development. 

Always remain focused and not be distracted by social media during office hours. 

Support the Directors and other Associates in the submission of competition bids and project proposals.  

Must possess a proactive and positive personality and outlook and be able to organize, motivate and lead others. 

Be able to manage difficult situations diplomatically and always remain calm and even-tempered. 

Strong knowledge of all local authority requirements and initiatives eg LRA, Green Plot ratio, Design for Safety, etc 

Ten (10) year’s post graduate full time work experience in landscape architectural projects is required, with proven local construction documentation and implementation experience.

A minimum of six (6) year’s post graduate full time work experience in landscape architectural projects is required, with proven construction documentation and implementation experience.

Clear English communication with Clients, Consultants and Contractors in all project activities.

Ability to work independently on several projects to achieve project deliverables and programmes.  

Proven abilities and skill in Adobe (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.) and Autodesk (AutoCAD) to generate, communicate, and document project outputs. Skills in additional or alternative graphic software such as Enscape, Lumion or other graphic software would be an advantage.  

Proven experience and skills in Schematic Design, and in putting together complete Design Development and Construction Documentation packages.  

A minimum of four (4) year’s post graduate fulltime working experience in local landscape architectural projects is required, with proven project management and documentation experience. A similar professional background in architecture or related field may be considered. 

Must possess a proactive and positive personality and outlook and be able to work with all levels of staff and clients and contractors.   

Be able to manage difficult situations diplomatically and always remain calm and even-tempered. 

Remain focused and not distracted by social media during working hours and support fellow team members in ensuring that project milestones are always met and deliverables checked for accuracy.
